With the addition of Yoshi and Luigi, Super Mario Galaxy 2 finds new ways to play up and advance the already enjoyable gaming franchise, taking it to new heights. The only thing holding this game back is the increased linear nature of the game's progression since the overworld from the previous game became obsolete.

To say Super Mario Odyssey 's primary gimmick is the hat that can possess people is an understatement to brilliant level design, open creative solutions to solving problems and puzzles, and just some beautiful visuals.
